Hematologic Cancer Program

The Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute specializes in diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship for hematological cancer patients. When diagnosed with a hematologic cancer our team provides you the information, treatment, and support you need for cancer survival.

Hematological cancers include:

  • Leukemia
  • Lymphoma
  • Multiple Myeloma
  • Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS)
  • Myeloproliferative Disease (MPS)
  • Rare blood disorders (hairy cell leukemia and aplastic anemia)

Our team offers you the latest treatment advances through our clinical affiliations and collaborations. Options may include: chemotherapy, bone marrow transplant, radiation therapy, and possible participation in a clinical trial. Fertility preservation is available. Your treatment options are discussed during the Hematological Multidisciplinary Planning Conference, compared to national guidelines and standards, and then individualized for you.
