The Transitional Year Residency Program at Spartanburg Regional is intended to be as flexible as possible in order to accommodate individual needs and interests.
- Medicine conference every Thursday (must attend 80%)
- TY Meetings every other month

Selectives
Choose two blocks from the following:
- Critical Care Surgery
- Emergency Medicine
- Internal Medicine
- OB/GYN
- Pediatrics
- Peds ICU/Clinic
Electives
Choose four blocks from the following:
- Anesthesiology
- Dermatology
- ENT
- General Inpatient Surgery
- Internal Medicine Subspecialties
- Neurosurgery
- Ophthalmology
- Orthopaedics
- Outpatient Family Medicine
- Plastic Surgery
- Radiation Oncology
- Radiology
- May not be taken by those scheduled to do a radiology residency
- Surgery Subspecialties
- Vascular Surgery
Rotations listed under Required & Selectives may also be taken as electives.
