For one week during the summer, get ahead of the game with hands-on experience. 

Students interested in a healthcare career are invited to apply for our High School to Health Care summer program, where you can explore various health careers in a hospital setting. This program is open to current high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.

How can you apply for the High School to Health Care summer program?

Your school career development facilitator is your contact and will work with Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System to choose participants. Students applying for the summer program will need to:

• Provide a 250-word essay on why you wish to participate in the program.
• Have a 3.0 GPA and provide a copy of your high school transcript.
• Obtain a letter of recommendation from your high school principal, teacher or counselor. Recommendations from family members will not be accepted.

What is the application deadline?

Applications are due Saturday, May 3, 2025.
