Job Description
Education, experience and training qualify the resident athletic trainers to provide prevention, care and rehabilitation to student-athletes. Resident athletic trainers will provide coverage for teams assigned by the supervising athletic trainers. The resident athletic trainers are responsible for administrative duties assigned by the supervising athletic trainers. The resident athletic trainers will be responsible for coursework and clinical experience as part of the Sports Medicine Institute Athletic Training Residency program, with a focus on rehabilitation.
Resident athletic trainers will be assigned to a primary work setting at one of the following colleges:
- Spartanburg Methodist College – Member of the NJCAA Division 10 (one resident position)
- Wofford College – Member of the Southern Conference (two resident positions)

Requirements
Preferred: Current BOC certification, CPR certification, SC DHEC eligibility
