Biography
Dr. Norris graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina also completing his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of North Carolina. He completed fellowship training in Orthopaedic Oncology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Norris specializes in the care of sarcomas and other orthopaedic oncologic conditions. These benign and malignant conditions effect the bones and soft tissues of the extremities in both children and adults. He also cares for fractures and impending fractures of bones affected by metastatic disease. He is trained in the care of complex joint reconstruction, orthopaedic infections and metabolic bone biopsies. He is also a member of the MGC- Orthopaedic Trauma Services. These services include the diagnosis and surgical treatment of routing and complex fractures such as malunion, nonunion and hardware failure.
