Patient Preparation |
Patient should be on a diet containing at least 60 g of fat. Patient should not use suppositories or mineral oil before specimen is collected. Oily material(creams, lubricants, etc.)should be avoided prior to specimen collection. |
Specimen Processing Instructions |
Once in the lab,specimen cannot be sent to Lab Corp in gray stool cup, must be transferred. |
