Welcome to the Cardiac Connection-Music Therapy event! Join us on Wed May 21, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Heart Wellness Center. Music has long been know for it's mental and emotional health benefits. But did you also know that it improves cardiovascular health by lower heart rate, blood pressure and stress hormones? Come join us and guest presenter, Alison Hughey, MT-BC, with Carolina Music Therapy!

Cardiac Connection is a monthly community group that supports people of all ages who have experienced a cardiovascular event such as a heart attack or stroke, had surgery related to the heart or are at risk for heart disease. Relevant topics and speakers vary each month. Bring your lunch and a friend!

In addition, we offer encouragement and lifestyle improvement activities. You may also connect with others who have had similar experiences. If you or a loved one are interested, please join us.
