Welcome to the Cardiac Connection-Forest Bathing event! Join us on Mon April 14, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the Art Therapy Room at Gibbs Cancer Center-Pelham. Shinrin-yoku or Forest Therapy is the art of being present in all the body's senses while in a wooded area. Benefits include: lower heart rate, blood pressure and stress hormones. This practice can boost your immune syste, and your mood. Come join us as we learn more ways to care for your heart!

Cardiac Connection is a monthly community group that supports people of all ages who have experienced a cardiovascular event such as a heart attack or stroke, had surgery related to the heart or are at risk for heart disease. Relevant topics and speakers vary each month. Bring your lunch and a friend!

In addition, we offer encouragement and lifestyle improvement activities. You may also connect with others who have had similar experiences. If you or a loved one are interested, please join us.
