9th Annual Mental Health Symposium

Please join Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and Mental Health America of Spartanburg County in their 9th Annual Mental Health Symposium!

Our mission to reduce stigma is reflected in both our theme and our distinguished lineup of speakers. This year's program features in-depth discussions on critical topics such as traumatic brain injury, human trafficking, nutritional strategies for mental health, marijuana and psychosis, and serious mental illness. As in years past, we will be recognizing achievements in mental health advocacy.

Early bird price (before September 1st): $80

Price after September 1st: $90

(Price includes continental breakfast, refreshments, lunch buffet, continuing education credits, and a ticket to be entered into a raffle for prizes.)

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT (Accreditation Statement)

You must attend 90% of each of the educational sessions to receive CE credit.

Counselors

Licensed Professional Counselors, Marital and Family Therapists, and Psycho Educational Specialists may utilize this training for 5.25 contact hours.

Nurses

This educational activity has been awarded 5.25 contact hours.

SRHS Corporate Education is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the South Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Social Workers

Social Worker CE credit has been applied for and is expected to be available.

Men: LUNCH: Gentlemen are NOT required to wear a jacket.
Women: Suit (including business pantsuit), dress or blazer with skirt or tailored slacks, tailored pants with a blouse or sweater.
Prohibited: T-Shirts, sweatshirts, or other shirt without collar; athletic attire, tennis shoes, shorts, jeans (regardless of value), denim jackets, untucked shirts, and baseball caps.

Lunch will be a buffet, directed by the Piedmont Club staff
