Please join SRHS for the annual Heart Failure Symposium at the Piedmont Club on September 18th, 2024!

The Heart Failure Program and Corporate Education present the18th Annual Heart Failure Symposium.

When: Wednesday, Sept.18

Time: 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. (Registration: 7:30 to 7:55 a.m.)

Where: The Piedmont Club, 361 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC

*The Piedmont Club dress code:

Men: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket at all times in all areas of the club. Ties are suggested but not required.

Women: Suit (including business pantsuit), dress or blazer with skirt or tailored slacks, tailored pants with a blouse or sweater.

Prohibited: T-Shirts, sweatshirts, or other shirt without collar; athletic attire, tennis shoes, shorts, jeans (regardless of value), denim jackets, untucked shirts and baseball caps.

LEARNING OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES

At the end of the educational activity, 90% of attendees will be able to:

I. Discuss several treatment options for advanced heart failure patients

II. To understand the definition, diagnosis and management of peripartum cardiomyopathy

III. Describe the basic principles and technological aspects of coronary Computed Tomography (CT) and Computed Tomography - Fractional Flow Reserve (CT- FFR)

IV. Design an appropriate iron replacement regimen for treatment of iron deficiency in heart failure

V. Participants will be able to design and evaluate pharmacotherapy plans for chronic diseases.

· $130.00 Pharmacists, PAs, NPs

· $5.00 Additional fee after September 14

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT (Accreditation Statement)

You must attend 90% of each of the educational sessions to receive CE credit.
