In February 2025, Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System will open the doors of its new $55 million Union Medical Center replacement facility. The combined replacement hospital and medical office centralizes physician practices, outpatient services and inpatient care, enhancing efficiency and patient experience. With its strategic location and expanded capabilities, the new Union Medical Center simplifies and modernizes healthcare delivery in Union County for generations to come.

“Spartanburg Regional first acquired the former Wallace Thomson Hospital to ensure that quality health care was not interrupted in Union. Now the replacement Union Medical Center will benefit generations to come by improving access to health services and wellness opportunities.”
