Infusion
About
With infusion centers in Spartanburg, Gaffney, Union, Pelham and North Grove, we want to keep you close to home so that you can receive our expert level of care in your own community.
A team of friendly and experienced professionals strive to make your infusion visit as comfortable as possible. Our registered nurses are certified to treat patients with infusions of chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy medications, utilizing intravenous lines and catheters which administer medication directly into the bloodstream without having to insert a needle for each infusion. Any negative side effects you may experience are aggressively treated with anti-nausea medication, pain medication, cold cap therapy and intravenous hydration.
Our infusion centers also perform other services, such as giving blood transfusions and immunotherapy (medicines that trigger your immune system to attack cancer). Our nurses are available to provide patient and caregiver education, patient assessments and financial counseling.
Our staff will coordinate lab draws with other facilities for your convenience and will schedule physician follow-up appointments. We can obtain lab draws from vascular access devices (catheters) and can care for short- and long-term central lines. Your doctor may call them PICC, Vas Cath, Permacaths, or Implanted Ports.
