Spartanburg Regional’s Pelvic Health Program specializes in the treatment of pelvic floor disorders for men, women and children, and provides each patient with an integrated method to care. Our program offers a multidisciplinary approach by utilizing research-based treatments that include physical and occupational therapy.

Our licensed physical and occupational therapists create customized treatment plans that are consistent with advanced research and evidence-based data. Treatment may include:
- Exercise to improve the function of your pelvic floor muscles
- Biofeedback to improve muscle awareness, control, and coordination
- Manual therapy such as: myofascial release, soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, scar tissue mobilization, and in some cases trigger point dry needling
- Electrical stimulation to improve awareness and strength of pelvic floor muscles
- Development of home exercise programs for muscle strengthening and stretching
- Education on lifestyle and behavioral changes

- Pre and post-surgical prostatectomy symptom management
