Biography
Dr. Curtis Elliott is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of acute and chronic conditions of the shoulder and knee. He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, graduating in the top five of his class, and completed his orthopaedic residency with the Greenville Hospital System. Dr. Elliott further honed his expertise with a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Virginia, where he developed advanced surgical skills and cared for collegiate athletes. Dr. Elliott’s practice emphasizes patient-centered care, focusing first on non-operative treatments to alleviate pain and restore function. If surgery becomes necessary, he is highly skilled in minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques and joint reconstruction. For the knee, he treats conditions such as meniscal injuries, ACL tears, and cartilage damage, while his shoulder expertise includes labral tears, rotator cuff injuries, and arthritis. He also offers advanced procedures like robotic-assisted total and partial knee replacements as well as anatomic and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty.
