Please join us for this important discussion and learning opportunity on conducting an ethical clinical trial. The event is sponsored by SOCRA (socra.org) whose purpose is to educate researchers across the Upstate of SC and beyond. This is open to anyone that is conducting clinical trials or those that want to learn more about this topic.

Our presenter is Laura R. Holtz, MS, PMP, CCRP, Senior Quality Specialist, Yale Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office and Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) President. Laura will demonstrate how to translate the founding ethical principles of clinical research into research processes for researchers and sites.

· To apply clinical research ethics principles to site research operation tasks and responsibilities

· Discuss developing sound clinical research processes for ethical compliance

· Evaluate tools and strategies for best practices in daily research operations
