Cardiac Connection-Hydration and the Heart

We all know that it's important to stay hydrated in the warmer months, but did you know that hydration is more than just replacing water lost? This month we will talk about why it's important to keep our fluid levels in a healthy range and how that plays a major role in overall health-including immunity, mental health, and body function.

Cardiac Connection is a monthly community group that supports people of all ages who have experienced a cardiovascular event such as a heart attack or stroke, had surgery related to the heart or are at risk for heart disease. Relevant topics and speakers vary each month. Bring your lunch and a friend!

In addition, we offer encouragement and lifestyle improvement activities. You may also connect with others who have had similar experiences. If you or a loved one are interested, please join us.
