SRHS Link FAQs

• What is SRHS Link?

  SRHS Link is a secure web-based application designed to connect independent community physicians and providers to information stored in SRHS’s EMR for their referred and admitted patients.

  As patients receive care from SRHS, SRHS will send you (the physician and/or provider) notifications and updates. You’ll have the information you need to plan patients’ ongoing care and patients will feel better, knowing that you’re up to speed on all the care they receive.

• Who should use SRHS Link?

  Community users, independent physicians and independent practices who are not employees of SRHS but utilize SRHS services should use SRHS Link. This includes:

  • Referring and referred-to providers
  • Practice and support staff delegates
  • Practice managers/nurse managers
  • Referral coordinators

• Is there a fee for using SRHS Link?

  SRHS provides access at no cost.

• Do I need to submit an access request for any providers or users who already have Epic access at SRHS?

  Yes. Any user or provider that should be associated to your practice will need to be submitted for access.

  Users who are not providers should only access your practice’s patients via SRHS Link, so they must be appropriately associated to your practice.

  When submitting a provider who already has Epic access at SRHS but should be associated to your practice, select the checkbox on the provider access form to add the provider to your site, but not create a login account. 

• How do I sign up for SRHS Link?

  Physicians and providers at your practice should review the SRHS Link terms and conditions here.

  The Site Administrator for your practice, who is responsible for managing access to SRHS Link for associates in your practice, will submit a new site access request via the Request New Account link on the SRHS Link login page.

• How long will it take before physicians and providers have access to SRHS Link?

  Access will be granted to physicians and/or providers within 15 business days following receipt of the submitted account request.

• What does SRHS Link offer?

  Features of SRHS Link include:

  • Easy, paperless referrals; Automatic follow-up
  • Nothing to install – it’s all online
  • Notifications on lab, imaging and test results
  • Information on hospital admissions and discharge summaries
  • Consultation notes
  • Managed access features
  • Quarterly de-activation process for inactive users

• Is training available for SRHS Link?

  Yes. Computer-based training is encouraged; however, it is not required for access. Information on education and training is available in the SRHS Link Quick Start Guide.

• Who do I call if I experience problems with SRHS Link?

  Technical issues (such as password resets) should continue to be reported through the Help Desk as with other applications by calling 864-560-4357 (HELP).
