Biography
Dr. Bearden received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He completed his residency at Keesler Airforce Base in Biloxi, MS. Dr. Bearden is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Internal Medicine, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and American Society of Hematology. He is a radiation therapy oncology group investigator, gynecological oncology investigator, national surgical adjuvant bowel and breast program investigator and north central cancer treatment group investigator. Dr. Bearden has won the Citizen of the Year for Kiwanis International in 2013 and Physician of the Year for Spartanburg County Medical Society in 2013. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. Dr. Bearden is also a certified physician investigator for the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
