Emergency Center Behavioral Health Unit

Emergency Behavioral Health is a state-of-the-art program designed to create a safe environment for acutely ill behavioral health patients. The unit is staffed with a team of highly skilled physicians, nurses, psychiatric liaisons, security officers, and support personnel. We provide 24 hour-a-day, 7 day-a-week services for people experiencing a mental health crisis. The multidisciplinary team assesses the patient through evaluation and observation and coordinates care via referral to outpatient or acute inpatient services as necessary.
