Kristi Ford-Scales, MD

Biography

Dr. Kristi Ford-Scales is a board-certified family medicine physician. She currently serves as the medical director of Spartanburg Regional Hospice. Dr. Ford-Scales completed a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2020. Before joining Spartanburg Regional, Dr. Ford-Scales served as the hospice medical director for Hospice of Carolinas Foothills. She worked as a hospitalist and primary care physician in a rural community upon completing her residency in 2013 at AnMed Family Residency Program. She is from Union, SC, where she currently resides with her husband Matt and three children.
