Biography
Dr. Andrew Bachinskas is a spine surgeon at The Spine Program at Pelham Medical Center, who helps patients decide if surgery is the best option for them. He believes in establishing a relationship with the patient and setting expectations before the surgery. Dr. Bachinskas encourages patients to explore alternative options before opting for surgery. He completed his medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and went through the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita Orthopaedic Residency Program. Later, he completed a fellowship for spine surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Bachinskas finds orthopaedics appealing because there is a direct correlation between treatment and outcomes. Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Bachinskas and his family enjoy the outdoors, especially hiking and exploring new places.
