Visitation Restrictions

As a precaution against the spread of H1N1 influenza, hospitals within the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System have the following visitation restrictions:

• No children under the age of 18
• No more than 2 visitors per patient
  • Immediate family members or primary caregivers only
• People in the following categories should visit only if absolutely necessary, and then with extreme caution:
  • Pregnant women
  • Those with compromised immune systems
  • Those with pulmonary complications
  • Those with diabetes
• Anyone with flu-like symptoms is asked not to visit within the hospital. These symptoms include:
  • fever
  • nausea
  • breathing difficulty
  • general achiness
