Visitation Restrictions
As a precaution against the spread of H1N1 influenza, hospitals within the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System have the following visitation restrictions:
- No children under the age of 18
- No more than 2 visitors per patient
- Immediate family members or primary caregivers only
- People in the following categories should visit only if absolutely necessary, and then with extreme caution:
- Pregnant women
- Those with compromised immune systems
- Those with pulmonary complications
- Those with diabetes
- Anyone with flu-like symptoms is asked not to visit within the hospital. These symptoms include:
- fever
- nausea
- breathing difficulty
- general achiness
