Philosophy

The SRHS Foundation:

• Believes that its members should act as advocates for the medical center.
• Believes it should promote understanding and build broad-based community support for the medical center.
• Believes in a locally managed healthcare system.
• Believes it should be a self-sustaining group of dedicated volunteers to work for Foundation programs.
• Believes it must assist efforts to inform the public through all appropriate means about the costs of delivering quality health care and the self-sustaining nature of the medical center.
• Will operate in an ethical manner.
